A Cluttered Schedule Is a Cluttered Life

Hey Reader,

Ever catch yourself saying, “I just don’t have time to eat healthy or exercise”?

It’s one of the most common things I hear from people who want to make changes but feel stuck. And I get it—life is full. Work, kids, appointments, to-do lists that somehow keep growing.

But here’s the truth:

Your schedule is shaping your health, whether you realize it or not.

And when you take a closer look at how your time is spent, you might notice something surprising—

There is time… it’s just getting eaten up by things that aren’t helping you move forward.

  • A few hours of Netflix here
  • Thirty minutes scrolling there
  • A chaotic dinner scramble that ends in takeout (again)…

It’s not about having more time.

It’s about being more intentional with the time you already have.

Here are 3 simple ways to Spring Clean your schedule for better health:

  1. Prep meals in advance. Healthy eating is way easier when your fridge is stocked and meals are mostly ready to go. Even just prepping protein and veggies ahead of time can make a huge difference when life gets hectic.

I use an app called eMeals. It gives you a weeks worth of options to choose from, plus several other meal plan options. When you choose your meals, it creates a shopping list. If you’re still strapped for time, there’s an option for you to place the oder online with a grocery service.
  2. Block off “non-negotiable” movement breaks. Just like a meeting or appointment, schedule in time for movement—even if it’s just 10 minutes. Protect that time like your health depends on it. (Because it does.)
    1. Take a short walk around the office.
    2. Make family memories and go for a walk each evening.
  3. Set a bedtime alarm. Yes, you read that right. Not a wake-up alarm—a bedtime alarm. Set it 30 minutes before bed so you can start winding down and protect your sleep like a boss. In fact, what I love about my iPhone, is that at a specific time, I have it set to into sleep mode automatically.

These aren’t massive overhauls. They’re small shifts that create space for the habits you say you want… and remove the clutter that’s getting in the way.

So let me ask you: Where do you think your time is getting stolen each day?

Hit reply and tell me—I’d love to hear about it and help you find some hidden time in your day.
